Our Story

Faith. Family. Purpose. A Better Way to Make Apparel.

Rose & Rae began with a dream shared between a dad and his two daughters—a dream shaped by life's challenges, moments of joy, and an unwavering belief in faith, family, hard work, and purpose.

What started as an idea for creating better everyday clothing has grown into something much bigger: a commitment to helping people, campuses, businesses, and mission-driven organizations make more thoughtful choices about the apparel they wear and share with others.

From the beginning, we believed clothing could be beautifully made, exceptionally comfortable, and more responsibly sourced. We set out to create timeless apparel that reflects those values without compromising quality, style, or performance.

Our journey hasn't always been easy. There have been setbacks, questions, long nights, and plenty of learning along the way. But each challenge has strengthened our resolve and clarified what Rose & Rae should stand for.

Premium quality. Responsible materials. Greater transparency. And apparel made with purpose.

Our Commitment to Better Materials

The materials we choose are at the heart of Rose & Rae. Our collections prioritize premium fibers including certified organic cotton and American-grown SUPIMA® cotton, selected for their exceptional softness, durability, comfort, and quality.

For applicable products, we seek out recognized third-party certifications and standards such as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 to provide meaningful verification behind the sustainability claims associated with our apparel.

Because we believe words like sustainable, responsible, and organic should mean something.

They should be supported by transparency, measurable standards, and credible certification wherever possible.

Sustainability Should Be More Than a Marketing Claim

The apparel industry is complicated, and sustainability is rarely as simple as a label or slogan.

That's why Rose & Rae takes a thoughtful approach.

We consider the fibers used to create our apparel, how those materials are sourced, the standards behind their production, garment quality and durability, and the partners involved throughout the supply chain.

Many of our organic cotton garments are produced without toxic dyes, harmful pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or formaldehyde and are designed with durability in mind—because we believe one of the most sustainable garments is one you'll genuinely love wearing and keep for years.

Our goal isn't to claim perfection.

It's to continually make better, more informed and more transparent choices while helping our customers do the same.

Timeless Design. Exceptional Quality.

We intentionally keep our approach to design simple.

Instead of chasing trends, Rose & Rae focuses on elevated everyday essentials—premium T-shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, and other versatile pieces designed to feel just as relevant years from now as they do today.

We believe true luxury isn't about excess.

It's about exceptional materials, thoughtful construction, comfort, durability, and knowing more about what you're wearing.

From heavyweight organic fleece and premium French terry to exceptionally soft cotton tees, every Rose & Rae collection begins with one question:

Would we be proud to wear this ourselves?

If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't belong in our collection.

From Everyday Apparel to Meaningful Partnerships

As Rose & Rae has grown, so has our vision.

We realized that the same values guiding an individual's purchasing decisions are increasingly important to the institutions and organizations shaping our communities.

Universities are establishing ambitious sustainability initiatives. Businesses are developing responsible procurement strategies. Museums, cultural institutions, nonprofits, and other mission-driven organizations are looking more carefully at the environmental and social impact of the products associated with their names.

Yet branded apparel doesn't always reflect those commitments.

We believe there's an opportunity to change that.

Sustainable Campus Collections

Through the Rose & Rae Sustainable Campus Collection™, we work to help colleges and universities offer premium apparel that better reflects their sustainability values.

Our campus collections can include certified organic T-shirts, heavyweight hoodies, crew sweatshirts, sweatpants, and other thoughtfully selected essentials customized to represent each institution.

The goal is simple:

Help campuses turn their sustainability commitments into something their students, faculty, staff, alumni, and communities can actually wear.

Rather than treating sustainability as an added feature, we want it considered from the beginning—from material selection and certification to decoration, durability, and responsible sourcing.

Sustainable Corporate & Institutional Collections

Our vision extends beyond campus.

Rose & Rae partners with businesses and mission-driven organizations seeking premium branded apparel that more closely reflects their values.

From employee apparel and corporate gifting to museum stores, cultural institutions, nonprofit organizations, events, and custom merchandise programs, we help organizations explore alternatives to conventional promotional apparel.

Because when an organization puts its name on a garment, that garment becomes a representation of the organization itself.

We believe the materials and standards behind it should matter too.

Helping Organizations Wear Their Values

Our partnership philosophy is built around collaboration rather than simply selling products.

We want to understand what an organization is trying to accomplish and help develop an apparel collection that supports those goals.

That can mean selecting certified organic materials, creating a curated campus collection, developing premium employee apparel, supporting sustainability-focused events, or helping an institution communicate the story behind the products it chooses.

For Rose & Rae, sustainable apparel isn't simply about replacing one T-shirt with another.

It's about helping create a more thoughtful relationship between what an organization believes and what it chooses to put its name on.

Transparency Matters

We believe sustainability should be measurable, transparent, and supported by recognized standards. That's why we're committed to communicating clearly about the materials, certifications, manufacturing standards, and sourcing behind our products.

We don't believe sustainability requires perfection.

We believe it requires honesty, accountability, continuous improvement, and a willingness to make better choices whenever possible.

Those principles guide Rose & Rae as we grow.

Our Story Is Still Being Written

Rose & Rae remains what it was at the beginning: a family dream.

Our faith in God, our love for one another, and our belief that meaningful things are built through patience, perseverance, and purpose continue to guide us.

But our dream has grown.

We want Rose & Rae to help demonstrate that premium apparel and responsible sourcing don't have to exist separately—and that the clothing worn by individuals, universities, businesses, and institutions can better reflect the values they represent.

We're still a growing company. We're still learning. And we're committed to getting better along the way.

What won't change is the reason we started:

To create something meaningful.

To build something lasting.

And to leave something worthwhile for the next generation.

Thank you for being part of the Rose & Rae story.
